An evening of six world premieres

Each year three exceptional Minnesota dance artists receive the coveted honor of a McKnight Dancer Fellowship. To celebrate their artistry, we commission a solo dance from a choreographer of their choice. The 2020 & 2021 dance fellows have selected an outstanding group of local, national, and international dance artists who will bring their choreographic imaginations into new works expressly tailored for each fellow. The result is an evening of world premieres ranging from innovative Hip Hop to rhythmic Chicago footwork to Brazilian contemporary choreographic explorations and more.

September 17 and all livestreamed performances: Pay As You Are

In order to make our performances more accessible, The Cowles Center is excited to join other Twin Cities performing arts organizations and begin implementing PAY AS YOU ARE throughout the season. PAY AS YOU ARE pricing asks those who routinely pay the fair market value for tickets to choose to pay that amount. If an audience member needs to pay less, they can choose to pay less – as little as $5 per ticket, while those who are able to pay above market price are welcome to do so.
