The Twin Cities Tap Festival brings together national tap artists, local tap professionals, and students of all ages to share and learn about the rhythm, music, and the ever-changing art of tap dance. In addition to offering classes and workshops in tap and percussive dance, the three public performances highlight the cultural and artistic significance of tap. These performances present diverse and dynamic tap and percussive dancers connecting the Minnesota tap community with national tap artists. This is tap like you've not seen before!  The Twin Cities Tap Festival is presented by the Cowles Center. Twin Cities Tap is a registered 501c(3) nonprofit and contributions to Twin Cities Tap are fully deductible to the extent of the law. The Twin Cities Tap Festival is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Metropolitan Regional Arts Council, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund.
