St. Paul Ballet (SPB) has asked audiences to select the best of five seasons for a multifaceted anniversary celebration at The Cowles Center. From poignant to moving with a bit of charm and verve, SPB takes its cue from audience favorites in classical and contemporary ballet.

SPB will also reprise the one-act story ballet, Bella Luna by Peter Davison, which is an audience favorite.

"...Peter Davison's charming and heartbreaking work Bella Luna, ...hit all the right marks, weaving an enchanting tale with a sense of wonder."
– Sheila Regan, Star Tribune

Content warning: "Bella Luna" contains themes of sexual harassment and abuse.

Other pieces in the program include Locked Key by Zoé Emilie Henrot and the Audience Choices – Suite for Strings by Joseph Morrissey, and Shifts by Kinsun Chan.

Each show will have a different Audience Choice work that will only be seen at that show, so plan your weekend to take in both performances!

About St. Paul Ballet
Whatever 21st-century ballet becomes, you can be sure it will be as deep, wide, and rich as it always has been, and St. Paul Ballet wants to be part of its evolution. The technical foundation of the professional dancers springs from a deep love of classical ballet. They are masters of ballet’s universal language and its countless nuances which brings integrity to their contemporary work and acts as a jumping off point for the creation of new classical work. SPB hopes to stir our souls and articulate the resplendent as well as the relevant through inspired work that celebrates the artist and athlete that is the dancer.
