Threads Dance Project’s 10th Season show promises an exciting evening of all-new works.  Artistic Director Karen L. Charles taps into her previous career as a Computer Analyst and Mathematician to inspire her new work - Uncertain Reality. The dance explores the concept of Chaos Theory as it relates to the world we live in. Human beings fear chaos despite its existence all around us - in trees, rivers, and our own human biological system.  Charles will show the complexity and beauty of chaos through movement and interactive technological imagery, in collaboration with projection artist Miko Simmons. Uncertain Reality will invite the audience into a chaotic world necessary for our existence.

Additionally, Threads will share the world premiere of a new work by Salia Sanou (Burkina Faso/France), the 2017 McKnight International Choreographer. The McKnight International Choreographer Residency is a program of the McKnight Choreographer Fellowships, housed at The Cowles Center for Dance & the Performing Arts and funded by The McKnight Foundation.
