Foundation and Government Donors

Grants from foundations, corporations, and government institutions support The Cowles Center's new and existing programs, and benefit our mission to serve as a catalyst for the creation, presentation, education, enjoyment and celebration of dance and the performing arts.

Central to our mission, The Cowles Center’s education programs serve thousands of people of all ages and backgrounds annually through artist workshops, student matinee performances, and community events. Grants we receive help us to offer these programs at little to no cost, removing financial barriers to arts education for 9,000 students and community members.

Grants also enable us to provide subsidized studio and administrative space for the performing arts community, and to create high-quality performance opportunities that are affordable for artists and audiences.

We would like to thank our institutional funders for their commitment to The Cowles Center through program-related support:

Additional support is provided by The McKnight Foundation, U.S. Bancorp Foundation, Carolyn Foundation, and The Boss Foundation.
