31st Fall Season features world premiere of Stefanie Batten Bland’s “Caught,” which includes an on-stage installation of woven white plastic bags; Zenon’s premiere of Danny Buraczeski’s masterwork “Ezekiel’s Wheel,” inspired by the writings of James Baldwin, and set to a score for percussion and voice composed by Philip Hamilton with Peter Jones; and Reprise of luciana achugar’s “Molten Substance,” which the Star Tribune called “a rare and wonderful gift” to the company, with live percussion performed on stage by J.T. Bates.

Zenon Dance Company has been a standard-bearer of artistic excellence in the Twin Cities for 30 years. One of the nation’s only professional modern- and jazz-dance repertory troupes, Zenon’s eclectic repertory showcases signature works by emerging and established choreographers—more than 50 regional, national and international dance artists to date.
